Valv dá a receita de como se salvar de uma extinção em massa.

O Valv é uma das poucas bandas brasileiras independentes ativas que contam com mais de vinte anos de existência numa bela e crescente escala evolutiva.

Além de sobreviverem e superarem quaisquer riscos de extinção, sucederam tudo e todos e emergem neste miolo de 2020 mais vigorosos do que nunca, com Silurian, um EP com três sons novíssimos. Definitivamente o melhor e mais poderoso registro que, o agora quinteto, já fez até então.

Numa escala de tempo sonoro, surge o quarto registro gravado, mixado e masterizado localmente em Belo Horizonte, MG, no estúdio Frango no Bafo.

Trabalho de casa, feito a mão por praticamente todos da banda, muito bem pensado e cuidado nos mínimos detalhes.

Dá para sentir, do início ao fim, que o coração da banda foi colocado na ponta dos dedos e nos vocais e letras, mais simples, ainda melhores e mais diretas.

Se a paciência aprimora a existência, o tempo tudo transforma. "Silurian" marca os primeiros sons conhecidos, já totalmente adaptados às novas condições dos sons que acabaram de nascer.

Valv shows how to save themselves from extinction.

Valv is one of the few active independent Brazilian bands that have more than twenty years of existence on a beautiful and growing evolutionary scale.

In addition to enduring and overcoming any risk of extinction, they have succeeded and emerged in 2020 more vigorous than ever, with "Silurian", an EP with three brand new sounds. Definitely the best and most powerful record that, the now quintet, has done so far.

On a sound time scale, the fourth release was mixed and mastered locally in Belo Horizonte, MG, at Frango no Bafo Studio. Homemade and handmade by everyone in the band, very well thought out and careful in the smallest details.

You can feel, from start to finish, that the heart of the band was placed at their fingertips and on the vocals and lyrics, simpler, even better and more direct.

If patience enhances existence, time transforms everything. "Silurian" marks the first known sounds, already aligned to the tones just born.

Long live Valv.
